What the fuck? It's fanart. I gave credit to Jhonen. Hence the (C) symbol and Jhonen Vasquez's name. Anyone who knows who the fuck he is knows this came from his comic book. I am a fan of his art. Or am I not a fan because I like his art enough to draw it myself? What's the problem with recreating? At least I didn't trace it! Do you leave comments like this on everyone's fanart? Jerkass!

there's fanart and then there's copying. REAL fanart is drawing the characters in your own original poses and situations. What you are doing is copying directly out of the book! Thats stealing. I beleave there is a little soemthing about this written in the copyright notice in Jhonen's book. Let me quote for you, mmkay? "No part of this super-amazing publication may be reproduced without the written permission of Jhonen the Wiry Wonderboy and the surly Consent Elf at Slave Labor Graphics." THAT is what is wrong with recreating. I dont leave comments like this on fanart... but i do on lazy copying.

Dude, that's in the book so people don't copy the book and sell it without even mentioning jhonen's name. And if you take a look around, a whole lot of people have drawn things out of books. Fuck, look at avatars! I'm pretty damn sure all those images weren't reproduced, I'm thinking they're stolen :sarcastic: . And I wouldn't call this lazy copying but whatever. I gave credit to Jhonen because it's not an original idea, but it's my art because I was able to draw it through observation and make it actually look good. Do I need to give you links to other images you can leave such comments at?
